Built in 1941 but turned into a radio factory and only reopened in 1997 this fine church on a hill in Kaunas offers wide views of the city from its roof terrace. When I visited this church in 2012 it was decorated for a marriage. The flowers support the wide length of the nave, if you have a look at the walls you will see a modern Stations of the Cross.

A huge winter garden built in 1874 connects the two parts of Kretinga Manor, today the town museum. You can drink a coffee in the greenhouse and visit the exhibits of the Tyszkevicius family, household and folk art.

Kaunas has a small synagogue which is worth visiting if you ask kindly. I was allowed to take one photograph and decided to take a view of the altar and the gallery.
